Executives concocted an elaborate scheme in which they created \u201cfake\u201d cancer patients to improve sales, according to a Senate investigation whose findings were released last week.\u00a0The\u00a0report\u00a0from the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs was released just days after Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich filed a\u00a0consumer fraud lawsuit\u00a0against Insys and three doctors over a \u201cmarketing scheme\u201d to increase sales of the drug.\u00a0Brnovich called the action part of a fight against \u201cthe unethical and greedy behavior in the pharmaceutical industry that is fueling the opioid crisis in our state.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.naturalblaze.com\/2017\/10\/american-heart-association-says-meditation-may-reduce-heart-disease.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">American Heart Association Says Meditation May Reduce Heart Disease<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0 The American Heart Association has joined the chorus of voices recognizing the benefits of a regular meditation practice. In a\u00a0statement\u00a0titled, \u201cMeditation and Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: A Scientific Statement From the American Heart Association,\u201d the AHA calls meditation a \u201cpotential attractive cost\u2010effective adjunct to more traditional medical therapies.\u201dThe AHA conducted a systematic review of the studies on potential benefits of meditation on cardiovascular risk and found that, \u201cOverall, studies of meditation suggest a possible benefit on cardiovascular risk.\u201d The AHA did caution that the overall quality and quantity of study data is \u201cmodest\u201d.
