Although being vaccinated against mumps can prevent a person from getting sick if he or she has been exposed to lower levels of the virus, for people living in dorms, vaccination may not be enough to ward off an infection, he said.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In Zika news, a<a href=\"http:\/\/healthimpactnews.com\/2016\/will-the-u-s-congress-gift-over-1-billion-to-big-pharma-on-false-zika-epidemic\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>rticles published this week about the Zika debate in Congress offers a ray of hope<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>for those of us who want to stop Congress from giving a 1.8 billion dollar gift to federal agencies and Big Pharma for the development of a Zika vaccine program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a small, albeit important victory, a\u00a010-year-old boy in Britain was awarded $174,000 after<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/newstarget.com\/2016-04-28-10-year-old-boy-awarded-174000-after-vaccine-caused-permanent-brain-damage-and-narcolepsy.html\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0vaccine caused permanent brain damage and narcolepsy.<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Perhaps there is hope to set a precedent, and gain some further traction in the court of public opinon here.
