Chemotherapy found to increase the number of \"\"tumor cells circulating in the blood, spreading it to previously unaffected areas<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Chemotherapy is a pretty scary prospect, but a lot of people are convinced by their doctors that its potential benefits are worth enduring the very unpleasant side effects. Unfortunately, a new study shows that getting chemotherapy before surgery can actually increase the tumor cells in your blood<\/a> and spread the cancer to other areas. This adds to the growing body of evidence that chemotherapy isn\u2019t as solid of a cancer treatment as many doctors make it seem.<\/p>\n

\"\"Study: The medical community isn\u2019t pre<\/span>pared for the looming pandemic of neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson\u2019s<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Parkinson\u2019s disease is the second most common neurodegenerative disease plaguing people today, with an estimated 1 million Americans are battling this illness \u2013 more than Lou Gehrig\u2019s disease, muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis combined. Parkinson\u2019s causes certain nerve cells in the brain to die, affecting movement and causing worsening tremors and stiffness. The direct and indirect costs associated with the disease are believed to exceed $25 billion a year.\u00a0Now, a disturbing new study<\/a> by researchers from the University of Rochester Medical Center<\/a><\/em> has warned that the number of patients battling the disease will \u201csoon grow to pandemic proportions.\u201d<\/p>\n

My wife has pain and bloating on her left side. She has had a colonoscopy, endoscopy and neither showed anything. After the endoscopy , (which was the 1st procedure) she hasn\u2019t been able to go to the bathroom on a regular basis. her guts hurt and it feels like she has parasites in her intestines. She has been diagnosed with possible Irritable Bowel Syndrome and\/or Diverticulitis. She doesn\u2019t believe those diagnosis, she has taken all kinds of over the counter products to go to the bathroom. \"\"Study reveals breast cancer can return years after the \u201call clear\u201d \u2013 Experts already pushing to keep women on prescriptions longer (no mention of lifestyle)<\/strong><\/a> \u00a0The findings of a new study out of England have blown yet another hole in the conventional cancer therapy myth, revealing that women who undergo typical procedures like chemotherapy and radiation for breast cancer often see the deadly disease return \u2013 in some cases up to 20 years after they were supposedly \u201ccured.\u201d\u00a0As part of their investigation, researchers fromOxford University<\/em><\/a> looked at 88 separate clinical trials involving a total of 62,923 women who were treated for breast cancer. From this data they concluded that breast cancer often lies \u201cdormant\u201d in women\u2019s bodies even after treatment has ended, which is why many conventional oncologists advise their patients to continue taking hormone drugs like tamoxifen in order to keep tumors at bay.<\/p>\n
