Researchers also uncovered a clue to why \u2014 a type of white blood cell seems to act as a communicator between the brain, the immune system, and the gut.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Health experts are troubled by the recent increase in the U.S. of Candida auris, a potentially deadly yeast infection<\/strong> found to be resistant to treatment. Invasive Candida\u2014or yeast\u2014bloodstream infections are in general becoming increasingly unresponsive to the most commonly used antifungal medications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A new study finds that adults with post-traumatic stress disorder are much more likely to experience sleep disorders, gastrointestinal problems,<\/strong> cardiovascular diseases, and numerous other health conditions.
